【摘要】：本报告以作者的两篇通信工程论文翻译实践为基础,结合了莱斯的文本类型理论,对科研论文的翻译进行了新的探究,以实例证明了科研论文为混合型文本(mixed type)的可能性,即以信息型(informative)为主,混杂有表达型(expressive)文本特征,并针对此类科研论文的翻译方法提出了自己的见解。本报告分为五大部分。首先,第一部分简要介绍了此次翻译实践的相关背景,并指出了此次翻译实践的意义。其次,第二部分重温了整个翻译过程,回忆了其中遇到了问题以及最后的解决办法。第三部分以莱斯提出的翻译的两大基本流程(分析和重构)为线索对翻译实践的指导理论进行了介绍,并以此为基础得出了作者自己的翻译策略。第四部分是本报告的重点部分。作者在此部分从词义入手分析了词汇翻译案例,运用传统的省略法、切分法和新颖的视觉化法对长难句翻译进行了剖析,从整体的逻辑角度分析了相关词句的翻译,并在结尾通过举例讨论了如何应对原文中可能出现的错误。最后的结论部分对理论应用及此次翻译实践的心得体会进行了总结。
[Abstract]:Based on the author's translation practice of two communication engineering papers and combining Rice's text type theory, this paper makes a new inquiry into the translation of scientific research papers, and proves the possibility that the scientific research papers are mixed text type.That is, informative-based, mixed with expressive text features, and put forward their own views on the translation methods of this kind of scientific research papers.The report is divided into five parts.First, the first part briefly introduces the background of the translation practice and points out the significance of the translation practice.Secondly, the second part reviews the whole translation process and recalls the problems encountered and the final solutions.The third part introduces the guiding theory of translation practice based on the two basic processes of translation (analysis and reconstruction) put forward by Rice and draws the author's own translation strategy.The fourth part is the main part of this report.In this part, the author analyzes the lexical translation cases from the word meaning, analyzes the translation of long difficult sentences by using the traditional ellipsis method, the segmentation method and the novel visual method, and analyzes the translation of related words and sentences from the overall logical point of view.At the end of this paper, some examples are given to discuss how to deal with the possible errors in the original text.The last part summarizes the application of the theory and the experience of the translation practice.
