《重新部署》英译汉文化负载词的翻译分析

【摘要】：随着跨文化交流日益频繁,读者接受理论渐渐受到了翻译界人士的关注或认可。文学作品是以读者为对象,如果离开了读者,文学作品就失去了其存在的意义;对于小说翻译而言同样如此,不被读者接受的文学译作无法实现文学交流的目的。因此,在文学翻译实践中,读者接受理论非常具有指导意义。由于汉英两种语言存在着语言、文化等方面的差异,笔者在翻译《重新部署》时遇到了文化负载词翻译的处理问题,为了将这些文化负载词的内涵准确传达给读者,笔者在翻译这些文化负载词时从读者接受理论出发,采用了不同的翻译方法。《重新部署》是美国作家菲尔?克雷撰写的一部现实主义小说,他以一种现实主义的写实手法,向读者阐述了伊拉克战争中的生生死死,和参战士兵离开战场后又遭遇的坎坷的心路历程。针对小说中的文化负载词,本文从军事用语、景观描写、伊拉克文化、美国文化四个方面进行分析,并在读者接受理论指导下得出小说中文化负载词的翻译方法:音译加注法、直译加阐释法、意译法、绝对直译法。通过对《重新部署》的英译汉文化负载词的翻译的分析,笔者认为翻译时还必须适当、灵活地运用各种翻译方法,实现音译加注法,直译加阐释法,意译法,省略法的相辅相成,辩证统一,从而更好地传递英语文化负载词中的文化信息。本文旨在为其它译者提供一定的翻译实践参考;通过深入理解读者接受理论的基本理念和相应的翻译策略来丰富笔者的翻译理论知识,提高自身的翻译水平。
[Abstract]:With the increasing frequency of cross-cultural communication, reader acceptance theory has gradually been concerned or recognized by the translation community. Literary works are aimed at readers. If they leave readers, literary works lose the meaning of their existence. Similarly, for fiction translation, literary translation that is not accepted by readers cannot achieve the purpose of literary communication. Therefore, in the practice of literary translation, the theory of reader acceptance is of great significance. Due to the differences between Chinese and English in terms of language and culture, the author has encountered the problem of translating culture-loaded words in translation, in order to convey the connotations of these culture-loaded words to the readers accurately. In translating these culture-loaded words, the author adopts different translation methods based on the reader's acceptance theory. A realistic novel written by Clay, he explains to readers the life and death of the Iraq War and the bumpy journey experienced by the soldiers after leaving the battlefield. In view of the culture-loaded words in the novel, this paper analyzes them from four aspects: military terms, landscape description, Iraqi culture and American culture, and under the guidance of the reader's theory, obtains the translation method of culture-loaded words in the novel: transliteration plus note method. Literal translation plus interpretation, free translation, absolute literal translation. Based on the analysis of the translation of Chinese-English culture-loaded words in "redeploy", the author holds that it is necessary to make proper and flexible use of various translation methods to realize transliteration plus annotation, literal translation plus interpretation, and free translation. Ellipsis complements each other, dialectically unifies, thus better conveys the cultural information in English culture-loaded words. The purpose of this paper is to provide some practical reference for other translators and to enrich the author's translation theory knowledge and improve his translation level by deeply understanding the basic concepts and corresponding translation strategies of the reader's reception theory.
