山南景点介绍汉英翻译实践报告

【摘要】：随着中国对外开放政策的不断深入,旅游业日益欣荣。山南是西藏自治区管辖下的一个地级市,有着悠久的历史文化、秀美的自然风光及多彩的民俗传统,旅游资源丰富。为了进一步宣传山南景点,传播相关的景点文化,吸引更多的外国游客,促进对外交往和经济合作,景点翻译研究应当给予足够的重视。本报告主要讨论的是关于山南景点的汉英翻译项目,该项目具有一定的规模(26600字)和时限(15天),涉及到山南地区21个主要景点,由笔者参与的小型项目团体完成。本报告通过四个主要环节介绍了该项目的翻译流程,即译前准备、原文分析、文本翻译、校对。在译前准备中,本报告对译员的分工、翻译工具的选择、平行文本的搜集作了具体的介绍。在原文分析中,本报告分析了原文的特点,并提出了相关的翻译原则。在文本翻译中,结合原文本中的大量实际案例,本报告探讨了藏族专有名词的翻译以及相关的翻译策略,例如,音译、音译加直译,并重点分析了文化负载词的翻译以及相关的翻译策略,例如,意译、音译加注释,还探讨了长句的翻译以及相关的翻译策略,例如,省略、拆分与重组。文化负载词的翻译是重点,也是难点。最后,本报告介绍了目的语文本的语言质量和语言风格的校对。本报告总结出以下三点:第一,翻译流程上,充分的译前准备是确保项目进度的必要条件,而严格的校对是翻译质量的重要保障。第二,文本翻译上,译者应尽可能地传播原文本中的藏族文化特色,同时,确保外国读者能够准确理解。第三,译者应提高自身素养,努力成为一名优秀的译员。笔者希望本报告能为景点翻译的后续研究提供一些可用的建议。
[Abstract]:With the deepening of China's policy of opening to the outside world, tourism is booming day by day. Shannan is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Tibet Autonomous region, with a long history and culture, beautiful natural scenery and colorful folk traditions, rich tourism resources. In order to further propagate the scenic spots in Shannan, spread the culture of scenic spots, attract more foreign tourists, and promote foreign exchanges and economic cooperation, the study of scenic spot translation should be paid enough attention to. This report mainly discusses the Chinese-English translation project of Shannan scenic spots, which has a certain scale of 26600 words) and a time limit of 15 days. It involves 21 major scenic spots in Shannan area and is completed by the small project groups involved by the author. This report introduces the translation process of the project through four main sections: pre-translation preparation, original analysis, text translation, and proofreading. In pre-translation preparation, this report introduces the division of labor among interpreters, the choice of translation tools, and the collection of parallel texts. In the original analysis, this report analyzes the characteristics of the original text and puts forward relevant translation principles. In the course of text translation, combined with a large number of practical cases in the original text, this report explores the translation of Tibetan proper nouns and related translation strategies, such as transliteration, transliteration and literal translation. It also analyzes the translation of culture-loaded words and related translation strategies, such as free translation, transliteration and annotation, and discusses the translation of long sentences and related translation strategies, such as ellipsis, splitting and recombination. The translation of culture-loaded words is both important and difficult. Finally, this report introduces the language quality and language style proofreading of the target language version. This report concludes the following three points: first, in the translation process, adequate pre-translation preparation is a necessary condition to ensure the progress of the project, and strict proofreading is an important guarantee of translation quality. Second, in the translation of the text, the translator should try his best to disseminate the Tibetan cultural characteristics in the original text and ensure that the foreign readers can accurately understand it. Third, translators should improve their own literacy and strive to become an excellent interpreter. The author hopes that this report can provide some useful suggestions for the follow-up study of scenic spot translation.
