职业译员与学生译员视译表现对比研究

【摘要】:视译应用于同传教学和翻译实践,并在高校当中作为翻译教学和培训的方法加以教授。然而在课堂上,教师一般依靠本人直觉和经验指导学生表现,主观性较强,本文主要对比中文为母语的10名学生译员和6名职业译员英中视译的表现。从准确性、表达流畅度和输出语质量三个方面进行定性和定量分析。从对比中,找出学生与职业译员的主要差距,并对视译训练的重点策略提出建议。本研究中的实验结果表明,准确性不是区分学生译员和职业译员的主要因素,学生译员和职业译员最大的差异在于流畅性和输出语质量。总体来看,职业译员的平均语速要高于学生译员。职业译员的错误集中在一两个段落,而学生译员的错误分布在实验材料的各个段落。实验分析证明了,合理切分、增补、删除这三个口译教学经常使用的策略可以有效提高语言流畅度和输出语质量。学生译员需要进一步提高抓主要信息的能力。有意识地将自己从源语干扰中脱离开来,使用翻译技巧,避免翻译腔。最后,本文希望可以帮助提升视译课程质量,为今后口译课程设置和视译研究领域提供基础。
[Abstract]:Visual translation is applied to simultaneous interpretation teaching and translation practice and is taught in colleges and universities as a method of translation teaching and training. However, in class, teachers generally rely on their intuition and experience to guide students' performance. This paper mainly compares the performance of 10 students with Chinese as their mother tongue and 6 professional interpreters with English and visual translation. Qualitative and quantitative analysis are made in terms of accuracy, fluency and quality of output language. From the comparison, the author finds out the main gap between students and professional interpreters, and puts forward some suggestions on the key strategies of visual translation training. The experimental results in this study show that accuracy is not the main factor to distinguish student interpreters from professional interpreters. The greatest difference between student interpreters and professional interpreters lies in fluency and quality of output language. Overall, the average speed of professional interpreters is higher than that of student interpreters. The errors of professional interpreters are concentrated in one or two paragraphs, while those of student interpreters are distributed in each paragraph of the experimental material. The experimental results show that the three strategies often used in interpreting teaching can effectively improve the fluency and the quality of the output language. Student interpreters need to further improve their ability to grasp key information. Consciously detach oneself from the source language interference and use translation techniques to avoid translation. Finally, this paper hopes to help improve the quality of visual translation courses and provide a foundation for future interpretation courses and visual translation research.
