图书馆科技查新翻译工具的正确有效使用

【摘要】：科技查新是科研立项的有效评价依据,也是评审和鉴定科技成果及为其评奖的有效评价依据,而专业术语又是高校图书馆查新员进入研究课题且避免盲目检索的一个重要线索。由于查新员在科技查新工作中常常会碰到许多涉及专业术语翻译的问题,为了确保专业术语能够查准、查全,查新员不仅必须理解术语的含义,还必须能够排查数据库中中英文术语使用不一致和不规范的情况。我国高校图书馆科技查新工作中,术语翻译问题主要涉及术语核查和译文确认两方面的问题,常用到的翻译工具主要有CNKI中国工具书馆、在线词典和百科全书等。另外,由于高校图书馆的科技查新工作具有很强的专业性和技术性,查新经验的总结就显得尤为重要,因此,图书馆查新员在查新实践工作中应当特别注意词频测试结果、查新术语的对照翻译,不断地提高术语翻译的调控检索能力。
[Abstract]:Scientific and technological novelty search is not only the effective evaluation basis for the establishment of scientific research projects, but also the effective evaluation basis for evaluating and appraising scientific and technological achievements and awards. The technical terminology is also an important clue for university librarians to enter the research subject and avoid blind retrieval. In order to ensure that the technical terms can be checked correctly and completely, the innovator must not only understand the meaning of the term, but also understand the meaning of the term. It must also be able to sort out inconsistencies and irregularities in the use of English and Chinese terms in the database. In the work of scientific and technological novelty retrieval in university libraries in China, the translation of terms mainly involves two aspects: term verification and translation confirmation. The commonly used translation tools are mainly CNKI China reference Library, online Dictionary and Encyclopedia, and so on. In addition, since the sci-tech novelty retrieval work in university libraries is highly professional and technical, it is particularly important to sum up the experience of novelty searching. Therefore, the librarians should pay special attention to the results of word frequency testing in the practice of novelty retrieval. The contrastive translation of new terms improves the retrieval ability of term translation.
