培养农村高中生自主性听力学习能力的行动研究

【摘要】:中学生英语听力理解的重要性已得到广泛的认同,如何有效提高农村地区高中学生的英语听力水平一直是很多研究人员和一线英语教师共同关注的话题。因为在英语语言学习中,学生不仅要通过书面阅读获取信息,而且还要能够通过声音来进行有效的、更重要的语言输入。听力教学不仅要提高学生的语言能力,培养学生的自主性听力学习策略也应该是其重要的一部分。实际上,农村的英语学习者过于依赖教师的课堂教学,仅仅靠课堂上有限的听力活动或练习,难以通过量的积累实现质的飞跃。要提高农村高中生的听力水平,就必须帮助他们对自己的听力学习过程负责,明确学习目标,并学会使用恰当的听力策略达到具体目标,发展自控和自律能力,了解听力学习必须是一个与自身、教师、学习任务和教学环境不断交互的动态过程。近年来在实践中不断发展完善的行动研究,就是针对目前存在的这一弊端,研究者在充分进行自我反思的新教学模式下发展起来的,目的是为了有效解决研究领域与实践环节相脱节、不一致等问题,为我们开展英语听力学习与研究提供了非常好的模式,同时行动研究也逐渐成为国内外教育界进行理论探究和实践经验有机结合的一种研究方法。此次行动研究以林州地区某高中一年级的一个自然班为研究对象,首先通过发放调查问卷调查学生的自主性听力学习现状,并通过两轮行动研究逐步提高学生自主性听力学习能力。研究发现除教师的有效引领外,有针对性地培养学生的听力策略可以帮助他们成为更自主的语言学习者。结合测试与访谈,本文指出:学生的自主性听力学习能力与其听力成绩直接相关。
[Abstract]:The importance of middle school students' English listening comprehension has been widely recognized. How to effectively improve the English listening level of senior high school students in rural areas has been a common concern of many researchers and first-line English teachers. In English language learning, students should not only obtain information through written reading, but also be able to make effective and more important language input through sound. Listening teaching should not only improve students' language ability, but also cultivate students' autonomous listening learning strategies. In fact, English learners in rural areas rely too much on teachers' classroom teaching, and only rely on limited listening activities or exercises in the classroom, so it is difficult to achieve a qualitative leap through accumulation. In order to improve the listening ability of rural high school students, we must help them be responsible for their listening learning process, define their learning goals, learn to use appropriate listening strategies to achieve specific goals, and develop self-control and self-discipline. Understanding listening learning must be a dynamic process that interacts with itself, teachers, learning tasks and teaching environments. In recent years, action research, which has been continuously developed in practice, has been developed under the new teaching model of self-reflection, aiming at the present malpractice. The purpose is to effectively solve the problems such as the disconnection and inconsistency between the research field and the practice, and provide a very good model for us to carry out English listening study and research. At the same time, action research has gradually become an organic combination of theoretical research and practical experience in the field of education at home and abroad. This action study took a natural class in a senior high school in Linzhou as the research object. First, the present situation of students' autonomous listening learning was investigated through a questionnaire survey. And through two rounds of action research, students' autonomous listening ability is improved step by step. In addition to the effective guidance of teachers, it is found that targeted listening strategies can help students become more autonomous language learners. Combined with tests and interviews, this paper points out that students' autonomous listening learning ability is directly related to their listening performance.
