蒙古族初中生习得英语词法中的母语负迁移研究

【摘要】：本研究探讨蒙古族初二学生英语词法习得中的母语负迁移现象,以期为提高少数民族地区英语教学质量提供切实可行的意见和建议。为实现以上研究目的,本研究采用了定量和定性相结合的混合式研究方法,即词法测试和访谈。研究总共分为两个部分。第一部分运用词法测试和访谈方法回答第一个研究问题。第二部分运用访谈方法回答第二个研究问题。511名来自内蒙古两所蒙古族学校的学生参加了词法测试,根据测试结果选出20名学生参加个体访谈,其中有16名学生被选为集体访谈。词法测试和访谈结果均表明大部分蒙古族初中生在英语词法学习过程中存在母语负迁移现象。研究结果还表明书写和读音规则的差异、形态特性的差异、母语思维模式的影响、语言习惯的影响、直接翻译的影响等因素能解释蒙古语在蒙古族学生英语学习中产生的负迁移现象。基于以上研究,本文对蒙古族初中生的英语教学提出几点建议,如:教师要选择合适的教学手段,积极探索并合理运用英语和蒙古语的对比教学,以提高学生的学习效率。其次,学生可通过阅读英文资料,写英文文章的方式培养并建立英语语感。此外,学校、地方和国家教育部门应培养有丰富英语知识和良好教学能力的蒙古族教师。最后,要加大对少数民族教育的投入。
[Abstract]:This study explores the phenomenon of negative transfer of mother tongue in English lexical acquisition of Mongolian junior high school students in order to provide practical suggestions and suggestions for improving the quality of English teaching in minority areas. In order to achieve the above purpose, this study adopts a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative research, that is, lexical test and interview. The study was divided into two parts. The first part uses lexical test and interview method to answer the first research question. The second part uses the interview method to answer the second research question. 511 students from two Mongolian schools in Inner Mongolia took part in the lexical test. According to the test results, 20 students were selected to participate in the individual interview. Sixteen of the students were selected for group interviews. The results of lexical tests and interviews show that most Mongolian junior high school students have negative transfer of their mother tongue in the process of English lexical learning. The results also show that the differences between writing and pronunciation rules, morphological characteristics, the influence of mother tongue thinking patterns, the influence of language habits, The influence of direct translation and other factors can explain the negative transfer of Mongolian language in Mongolian English learning. Based on the above research, this paper puts forward some suggestions on English teaching of Mongolian junior high school students. For example, teachers should choose appropriate teaching methods and actively explore and use the contrast teaching between English and Mongolian language so as to improve students' learning efficiency. Secondly, students can cultivate and establish a sense of English language by reading English materials and writing English articles. In addition, schools, local and national education departments should develop Mongolian teachers with rich English knowledge and good teaching ability. Finally, we should increase investment in minority education.
