【摘要】：本翻译报告的文本节选自《认识世界:哲学史》(第一卷),该书作者为理查德·大卫·普雷彻特。《认识世界:哲学史》是哲学史三部曲的第一卷,作者在书中揭示了西方哲学思想从古典时期到中世纪的发展。翻译报告中的节选文本着重介绍了古希腊时期雅典地区哲学思想的发展。本翻译报告在简要介绍翻译背景的基础上,结合相关理论,对翻译过程中状语从句的翻译难点及其处理方法进行了深入探讨。本翻译报告分为四章:第一章为引言,介绍了选题的背景和意义以及报告的结构。第二章对原文本和作者进行了介绍。第三章阐述了相关理论基础。第四章为翻译中的重难点分析和解决办法,笔者通过举例分析概括翻译中所遇到的一些典型案例,并通过补充和省略连词,融合与分离,调整语句顺序,转换句式等翻译策略来解决问题。第五章为总结,包括笔者通过此次翻译实践所得的启发与不足,以及对笔者及其他译者的建议。
[Abstract]:Excerpts of this translation report from the first volume of the Trilogy of the History of philosophy, by Richard David Pratcht. "understanding the World: a History of philosophy." In the book, the author reveals the development of western philosophy from the classical period to the Middle Ages. The excerpts from the translated report focus on the development of philosophy in Athens during the ancient Greek period. On the basis of a brief introduction of the translation background and the relevant theories, this paper makes an in-depth study of the difficulties in translation of adverbial clauses and their processing methods. The translation report is divided into four chapters: the first chapter introduces the background and significance of the topic and the structure of the report. The second chapter introduces the original text and the author. The third chapter describes the relevant theoretical basis. The fourth chapter is the analysis and solution of the important and difficult points in translation. The author summarizes some typical cases in translation by examples, and adjusts the sentence order by adding and omitting conjunctions, merging and separating, and adjusting the order of sentences. Translation strategies to solve problems. The fifth chapter is a summary, including the author's inspiration and deficiency through the translation practice, as well as suggestions to the author and other translators.
