【摘要】：《宋徽宗传》是美国汉学家伊佩霞(Patricia Buckley Ebrey)所著关于北宋晚期黄帝宋徽宗赵佶的生平事迹的一部人物传记。该书主要讲述了北宋后期(1100-1135)年间,以宋徽宗的一生为时间轴,将其与特定历史时期的宗教文化等相联系,以全新的西方思维讲述中国古代极具传奇色彩的艺术家帝王的故事。本论文通过研读本书,并在此基础上为第一章第一节作译,结合所学翻译理论,探索人物传记特别是历史人物传记的翻译方法,了解西方汉学家乃至大部分西方人对中国古代历史的认识,一方面为撰写研究生毕业论文提供写作素材,另一方面为今后的中外文化交流研究提供一定参考。本论文主要从人物传记的词汇、句式及文化角度三方面来研究人物传记翻译的特点,采用的研究手段主要是通过文献资料搜集、原文研读、翻译辅助工具使用、术语库建立等。
[Abstract]:The Biography of Huizong in Song Dynasty is a biography of Zhao Ji by Patricia Buckley Ebrey, an American sinologist, about Zhao Ji, the late Yellow Emperor of Song Dynasty in the late Northern Song Dynasty. The book mainly tells the history of the late Northern Song Dynasty (1100-1135), taking the life of the Song Huizong as the time axis, connecting it with the religious culture of a specific historical period, and telling the story of the legendary artist emperors of ancient China with new western thinking. This thesis explores the translation methods of biographies, especially historical biographies, by studying the book and translating the first section of chapter one. To understand the understanding of Chinese ancient history by western sinologists and most westerners, on the one hand, provides writing materials for graduate thesis writing, on the other hand, provides a certain reference for the future study of cultural exchange between China and foreign countries. This thesis mainly studies the characteristics of biographical translation from the perspectives of vocabulary, sentence structure and culture. The research methods are mainly through the collection of literature, the study of the original text, the use of translation aids, and the establishment of a glossary of terms.
