《橄榄球比赛规则》的重译和案例分析

【摘要】：如今国内橄榄球项目的发展呈蓬勃的态势,但鲜见与之相关的翻译研究,这一缺口亟待解决。国内有关橄榄球方面的书籍为数不多,大多从海外原版引进,少有中文译本,仅有的一本是由世界橄榄球协会编写并出版的《橄榄球比赛规则》(Laws of the Game)。然而书中存在诸多理解和表达的问题,影响橄榄球人士及广大爱好者学习橄榄球专业知识,也不利于该体育项目在国内的传播和发展。本文以纽马克的文本分类理论作为基础,提出信息类文本翻译的五大原则。纽马克根据文本的语言功能,将文本主要分为三类:表达功能型文本、信息功能型文本和呼唤功能型文本,《橄榄球比赛规则》属于信息功能型文本。笔者提出的信息类文本翻译五大规则包括准确原则、对等原则、中立原则、读者原则和目的语原则。本文力求将纽马克文本分类理论和信息类文本翻译五大原则用于《橄榄球比赛规则》的校正和重译中,旨在译出一本用语规范、通俗易懂的《橄榄球比赛规则》,为推广和发展我国橄榄球项目贡献绵薄之力。
[Abstract]:Nowadays, the development of domestic football projects is booming, but there are few translation studies related to it, and this gap needs to be solved. There are few books about rugby in China, most of them are imported from overseas, and there are few Chinese translations. The only one is the laws of the, which was written and published by the World Rugby Association. However, there are many problems of understanding and expression in the book, which affects the rugby players and fans to learn the professional knowledge of rugby, and is not conducive to the spread and development of the sport in China. Based on Newmark's text classification theory, this paper puts forward five principles of informative text translation. According to the language function of the text, Newmark divides the text into three types: the expressive function text, the information function text and the calling function text, and the Rugby rules belong to the information function text. The five rules proposed by the author include the principles of accuracy, equivalence, neutrality, readers and target language. This paper tries to apply the five principles of Newmark's text classification theory and informative text translation to the correction and retranslation of Rugby rules in order to translate a standard of terms. The easy-to-understand rules of Rugby play contribute to the promotion and development of our country's rugby program.
