《货品需求表技术规格》翻译实践报告

【摘要】：本实践报告是基于《货品需求表技术规格》汉译英的翻译而完成的。《货品需求表技术规格》详细阐述了设施种类及功能、使用细则、对投标人和招标人的要求、安全使用标准等内容。材料不仅有较强的专业性,而且语言表述逻辑性强,因而翻译时多采用直译以保证翻译的准确性。首先,材料中专业词汇较多,故将词汇分类为专有名词和普通名词,对逻辑性较强的词汇采取直译,其余则采用拆分或增减释义的方法以保证词汇的准确性;其次,材料中很多句子形式上是主动句但深层含义实为被动。在保证译文准确性的前提下,灵活运用不同的翻译策略包括调换主语和宾语的顺序、使用新句式等,使译文更加通顺易懂。再次,有较多比较难懂的并列句,除了注意句子的逻辑顺序及中英文阅读习惯的差别,适量删减并利用从句拆分等策略使译文更加简练易懂。最后,材料中有未点明主语的句子,可根据上下文含义,在主语模糊的地方适当补充主语,将语义补充完整。通过《货品需求表技术规格》材料的翻译实践,对技术材料的了解进一步加深,自身的翻译水平有所提高,这也为日后的翻译奠定了基础。
[Abstract]:This practice report is based on the translation of the Technical Specification of the demand list of goods into Chinese and English. The Technical Specification of the list of goods requirements details the types and functions of the facilities, the details of their use, and the requirements for bidders and tenderers. Safe use of standards and other content. Materials are not only professional, but also logical in language expression. Therefore, literal translation is often used to ensure the accuracy of translation. First of all, there are more professional words in the material, so the vocabulary is classified into proper nouns and common nouns, and the words with strong logic are translated directly, while the others are divided or added or subtracted to ensure the accuracy of the words. Many sentences in the material are active sentences in form but passive in deep meaning. Under the premise of ensuring the accuracy of the translation, different translation strategies, including the order of the subject and the object, and the new sentence structure, are used flexibly to make the translation easier to understand. Thirdly, there are many complex sentences which are difficult to understand. Besides paying attention to the logical order of sentences and the differences in reading habits between Chinese and English, the translation is more concise and easy to understand by deleting and separating clauses. Finally, there are sentences with unspecified subject in the material. According to the meaning of context, the subject can be supplemented with the subject where the subject is vague, so that the semantic complement can be completed. Through the translation practice of Technical specifications of goods demand list, the understanding of technical materials is further deepened, and their translation level is improved, which lays a foundation for future translation.
