[Abstract]:Interpreting, as a translation activity, refers to the translation of the target language into the target language. The author takes the fair course of Harvard University as an example, carries on the simulated on-site interpretation to it, in the course of the teaching, the interpretation comes out in time, provides a kind of feeling that the audience can listen to as if they were on the spot. At present, most of the studies and translation of open courses in famous schools at home and abroad are still confined to the stage of subtitle translation, and there are very few simulated on-the-spot interpretation of them. In the future, we may be able to see more and more famous public schools with simulated on-site interpretation, so that the domestic audience can not only enjoy the charm of the English source language, but also need not rely on the help of subtitles to hear simultaneous or consecutive interpretation of the Chinese language on the spot. Experience a different from the previous experience of listening to the class. The materials selected for this mock live interpretation practice are the first lecture, "moral aspects of murder", and the second, "the same kind of murder case," in the Harvard Open course, "how to do right?" for a total of about 55 minutes. Teachers ask questions, students answer, discuss and so on. The whole simulated interpretation lasts about 2 hours. The purpose of this report is to provide a unique way of learning for online class lovers by simulating on-site interpretation through a way different from traditional subtitle translation. At the same time, in the process of simulating on-site interpretation, we find our own shortcomings and correct them, which will lay a good foundation for the practice of interpretation in the future. However, due to the excessive duration of interpretation, interpreters also face various pressures, such as the speed of the speaker, the use of some dialects or slang, and the translator's lack of knowledge of the subject matter. I don't know how to translate many proper nouns and terms. This requires an interpreter not only to have excellent interpretation skills, but also to have the ability to deal with all kinds of unexpected situations on the spot, a kind of courage to face a crisis. The professional knowledge of teaching also needs to be very proficient. The report is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes the interpretation tasks, including the background, objectives and requirements of the interpreters; the second chapter describes the interpretation process, including the pre-translation preparation phase, the interpretation process and the post-translation process; the third chapter is a case study. It is the most important chapter in the whole report. The author first expounds the theoretical basis of this interpretation, and then, on the basis of the theory, uses some interpreting strategies to carry out the practice of simulated interpretation, and then analyzes the difficulties and problems in the process of interpreting. The fourth chapter is a summary of the practice of the simulated interpretation, mainly to sum up the experience and lessons in the process of interpretation, to reflect on the difficulties and problems in the process of interpreting. This paper analyzes the limitations of the simulated interpretation practice and the practical significance of the simulated interpretation practice. This report not only deepens the author's interest in the open class of the famous university, but also makes the author learn the excellent learning resources, enrich his own knowledge and broaden his horizons through the simulated on-the-spot interpretation of the "justice class" of the open class at Harvard University. In the process of simulated interpretation, the author, through the analysis of specific cases, finds out his mistakes and shortcomings in interpreting, and improves his level of interpretation. It lays a good foundation for the practice of interpreting in the future and has a good guiding significance.
