议会制辩论对口译能力促进作用的实证研究

【摘要】:英国议会制辩论赛(BP辩论)长久以来一直是英语口语和辩证思维教学的重要途径,但却鲜有研究将其纳入到口译的范畴之中。本研究旨在揭示其对口译学习者口译能力的积极作用。在本研究中,作者通过定量分析的方法,对两组英语专业本科生进行了口译测试并对结果进行分析,发现实验组即在英语学习的过程中进行BP辩论赛练习的学生在口译表现上要优于对照组,即英语学习过程中未进行BP辩论赛练习的学生。在作者看来,本研究不仅可以给口译教学提供一条新的途径,也可以给口译筛选提供一个新的参考标准。诚然,由于各方面因素限制,本研究存在一定的局限,也希望本研究能抛砖引玉,引发更深入的相关研究。
[Abstract]:The British parliamentary debate contest (BP debate) has long been an important approach to the teaching of spoken English and dialectical thinking, but few studies have brought it into the category of interpretation. The purpose of this study is to reveal its positive effect on interpreting competence of interpreting learners. In this study, the author carries out interpretation tests on two groups of English majors by means of quantitative analysis and analyzes the results. It is found that the students in the experimental group are better than those in the control group in terms of interpretation performance, that is, the students who do not practice the BP debate in the course of English learning. In the author's opinion, this study can not only provide a new way for interpreting teaching, but also provide a new reference standard for interpreting screening. Indeed, due to the limitations of various factors, there are some limitations in this study, and it is also hoped that this study can lead to more in-depth relevant research.
