信息转换方式在初中英语阅读中的应用研究

【摘要】:英语阅读理解在初中英语教学中具有很重要的地位。虽然现阶段英语教学一直倡导着新课程改革,但是还有很多老师深受传统的教学方法的影响,注重语法,以词汇和句子讲解为主,而忽略了对文章的整体理解,学生不能从整体去把握文章。本人基于对初中英语阅读教学的观察以及前人的所做的努力,采用信息转换方式,试图将其应用到初中英语阅读教学中,从而来提高学生的英语阅读兴趣和英语阅读成绩。本文主要研究为在信息转换方式指导下的英语阅读教学是否可以激发学生的学习兴趣、提高他们的学习成绩以及运用策略的能力,以襄汾县陶寺初级中学初一年级的1班和2班的学生作为研究对象,将两个班分成实验班和控制班,实验班采用信息转换方式进行阅读教学,而控制班采用传统阅读教学方法。实验过程中运用了测试和问卷调查的方法。在实验前和实验后采用问卷的形式,对两个班学生的英语阅读兴趣进行前测和后测。两个班都进行实验前测试和实验后测试,然后统计成绩,并通过SPSS软件分析两个班的成绩。实验结果表明如下:(1)通过对实验班和对照班前后测成绩的对比,实验班的阅读成绩有明显的进步。这说明信息转换方式指导下的阅读教学能够提高学生的阅读成绩。(2)学生们在实验后能够有意识地扩大阅读量,主动地做读前预习,有意识地进行推理预测。这些都表明学生的阅读态度变得积极,阅读习惯和方法也更为科学有效。同时也说明了在信息转换方式下的英语阅读教学能够提高学生的运用策略的能力。(3)信息转换方式指导下的阅读教学注重阅读的过程,注重语篇内涵和文化背景知识的应用和补充,这样的教学使得学生能够享受阅读的过程和趣味,对于阅读的兴趣和信心自然也会提高。
[Abstract]:English reading comprehension plays an important role in junior middle school English teaching. Although English teaching has been advocating the new curriculum reform, there are still many teachers deeply influenced by traditional teaching methods, focusing on grammar, focusing on vocabulary and sentence interpretation, and neglecting the overall understanding of the article. Students cannot grasp the article as a whole. Based on the observation of English reading teaching in junior high school and the efforts made by predecessors, I try to apply it to the teaching of English reading in junior high school by using the method of information conversion, so as to improve the students' interest in English reading and their reading results. This paper focuses on whether English reading teaching under the guidance of information conversion can stimulate students' interest in learning, improve their academic performance and their ability to use strategies. Taking the students of Class 1 and Class 2 of Grade 1 of Taosi Junior Middle School in Xiangfen County as research objects, the two classes are divided into experimental class and control class. The experimental class adopts information conversion method for reading teaching, while the control class adopts traditional reading teaching method. The methods of test and questionnaire were used in the experiment. In the form of questionnaire before and after the experiment, the students' English reading interest in the two classes were tested before and after the experiment. The two classes were tested before and after the experiment, then the results were counted, and the results of the two classes were analyzed by SPSS software. The results are as follows: (1) by comparing the results of the experimental class and the control class, the reading scores of the experimental class have improved significantly. This shows that the reading teaching under the guidance of information conversion can improve the students' reading scores. (2) students can consciously expand the amount of reading after the experiment, actively do pre-reading preparation, and consciously make reasoning and prediction. All these indicate that students' reading attitude becomes positive and reading habits and methods are more scientific and effective. At the same time, it also shows that the English reading teaching under the information conversion mode can improve the students' ability to use strategies. (3) the reading teaching under the guidance of the information conversion mode pays attention to the process of reading. Focusing on the application and supplement of textual connotation and cultural background knowledge, such teaching enables students to enjoy the process and interest of reading, and their interest and confidence in reading will naturally increase.
