服务专业高职英语模块化教学实验研究

【摘要】:中国高等职业教育始于19世纪80年代,经过30多年的发展,已培养出近千万满足各行各业所需的应用型人才。时至今日,高职教育领域发展迅速,形势繁荣。高职教育培养的是高技能应用型专门人才。同时,随着全球化的发展,对高职学生英语水平的要求也是越来越高,尤其是服务类行业。高职英语教育承担的重任越来越大,英语教学在高职教育中有着不可忽视的作用。高职院校应该不仅加强专业知识、专业技能的教育,还应加强英语教学,使学生能明确学习英语的方向,有目的地学习,将个人需求和职业需求相结合。国家虽制定了针对性的措施和政策,但受限于外部环境和现实诸多因素,英语教学效率相对较低,尚未达到教育部对高职英语教育的要求。因此,在此背景下开展服务专业高职英语模块化教学实验研究,不仅有助于提升人才培养质量,同时也有助于高职英语教育健康、科学、可持续地方向。本文以苏州工业园区工业技术学校酒店服务与管理高职专业的两平行班为实验对象,通过整合教材,借助问卷调查和对比实验研究,来研究实施模块化教学的效果,即提高学生的英语学习兴趣,提升学生自主学习能力以及对语言的实际运用能力,以及提高英语综合成绩。同时,将模块化教学模式与服务类专业相结合,起到相互提升、相互促进的教学效果,并针对性地提出优化性策略与保障措施,从而为我国服务专业高职英语的教学创新提供一定的借鉴。
[Abstract]:China's higher vocational education began in the 1880s. After more than 30 years of development, nearly ten million applied talents have been trained to meet the needs of various industries. Today, the field of higher vocational education is developing rapidly and the situation is prosperous. The higher vocational education trains the high skill application type specialized talented person. At the same time, with the development of globalization, the requirements of higher vocational students' English proficiency are becoming higher and higher, especially in the service industry. English teaching plays an important role in higher vocational English education. Higher vocational colleges should not only strengthen the education of professional knowledge and professional skills, but also strengthen English teaching so that students can learn English clearly and purposefully, and combine personal needs with professional needs. Although the country has formulated targeted measures and policies, but limited by the external environment and many practical factors, the efficiency of English teaching is relatively low, which has not yet met the requirements of the Ministry of Education for higher vocational English education. Therefore, under this background, the research on the modular teaching of English in higher vocational education of service specialty is not only helpful to improve the quality of talents training, but also to the healthy, scientific and sustainable local direction of higher vocational English education. This paper takes the two parallel classes of hotel service and management major in Suzhou Industrial Park Industrial and Technical School as the experimental object, through integrating teaching materials, by means of questionnaire investigation and comparative experimental research, to study the effect of modular teaching. That is, to improve students' interest in English learning, to improve their autonomous learning ability and their practical ability to use the language, and to improve their comprehensive English scores. At the same time, the modular teaching mode is combined with the service specialty to improve and promote the teaching effect mutually, and puts forward the optimization strategy and the safeguard measure. So as to provide some reference for the innovation of English teaching in higher vocational education of service major in our country.
