高中理科生英语学习中的学习风格和多元智能的相关性研究

【摘要】:近年来,随着“以学生为中心”的教育理念的提出和发展,外语教学的研究重点已经从研究如何教转向如何学。外语学习者的个体差异逐渐成为国内外外语教学研究的重要课题。作为学习者个体差异的两个重要因素,学习风格和多元智能这两个理论受到了越来越多的关注,而且取得了很多成果。研究表明,学习风格和多元智能之间有密切关系,他们互相补充,互相促进,他们的结合可以为个性化教学的发展提供有效的途径和思路。但查阅目前的文献得知,关于二者相关性的研究不是很多,已有的文献中关于二者的相关性研究也大都基于大学生或高职院校学生,针对高中生的相关研究相对较少。因此,本研究旨在调查高中理科生的英语学习风格倾向和多元智能分布情况,并分析二者之间的相关性,希望为个性化教学提供良好的理论基础和实践途径,最大限度地发挥外语学习者的潜力。本研究选取了山西省吕梁市吕梁贺昌中学高二年级的两个理科班的120名学生作为研究对象,采用感知学习风格倾向问卷和多元智能问卷调查高中生的学习风格倾向和多元智能分布情况,运用SPSS对问卷数据进行相关系数分析并辅以课堂观察和教师访谈进行补充。研究结果表明:1.根据对高中理科生的英语学习风格倾向的调查,高中理科生的主要学习风格为视觉型、听觉型和独立型,小组型学习风格是最少使用的学习风格。2.根据对高中理科生多元智能分布情况的调查,高中理科生喜欢通过逻辑数理智能、视觉空间智能和内省智能学习,但他们不太擅长言语智能、音乐智能,自然智能是最不擅长的。3.就高中理科生英语学习中的学习风格倾向和多元智能分布二者的关系而言,根据皮尔逊相关系数结果,高中理科生的视觉学习风格和数理逻辑、视觉空间智能正相关,触觉型学习风格与数理逻辑智能正相关,身体运动智能和动手型风格正相关,人际交往智能与小组型风格正相关,其余学习风格和多元智能并无明显相关。本研究旨在通过探索学习风格和多元智能两个重要的理论,丰富二者相关性的研究,利用两个理论各自的优势,开发学生的更多潜能,以期有助于高中英语教学以及个性化教学的发展。
[Abstract]:In recent years, with the development of the "student-centered" educational concept, the focus of foreign language teaching has changed from how to teach and how to learn. The individual differences of foreign language learners have gradually become an important topic in foreign language teaching and learning at home and abroad. As two important factors of learners' individual differences, the theories of learning style and multiple intelligences have been paid more and more attention, and many achievements have been made. The study shows that there is a close relationship between learning style and multiple intelligences. They complement each other and promote each other. Their combination can provide an effective way and train of thought for the development of individualized teaching. However, according to the current literature, there are not many studies on the correlation between the two, the existing literature on the correlation between the two is also mostly based on students or vocational college students, the relative research for high school students is relatively small. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the tendency of English learning style and the distribution of multiple intelligences among senior science students, and to analyze the correlation between them, in order to provide a good theoretical basis and practical approach for individualized teaching. Maximize the potential of foreign language learners. In this study, 120 students in two science classes of Lv Liang Hechang Middle School in Luliang City, Shanxi Province, were selected as the research objects. The questionnaire of perceived learning style aptitude and multiple intelligences were used to investigate the learning style tendency and the distribution of multiple intelligences of senior high school students. SPSS was used to analyze the correlation coefficient of the questionnaire data and supplemented by classroom observation and teacher interview. The results show that: 1. According to the investigation of English learning style tendency of senior high school science students, the main learning styles of high school science students are visual, auditory and independent, and group learning style is the least used learning style. 2. According to a survey of the distribution of multiple intelligences among high school science students, high school science students like to learn through logic, mathematical intelligence, visual space intelligence and introspection intelligence, but they are not very good at speech intelligence, music intelligence. Natural intelligence is the worst. 3. According to Pearson correlation coefficient, the visual learning style and mathematical logic, visual spatial intelligence of senior science students are positively related to the relationship between learning style and multiple intelligences distribution in English learning of senior high school science students, and according to the result of Pearson correlation coefficient, the visual learning style and mathematical logic of senior science students are positively related to each other. Tactile learning style was positively correlated with mathematical logic intelligence, physical motor intelligence was positively correlated with hands-on style, interpersonal intelligence was positively correlated with group style, and other learning styles were not significantly related to multiple intelligences. The purpose of this study is to explore two important theories of learning style and multiple intelligences, to enrich the research on the correlation between the two, and to exploit the students' more potential by using the respective advantages of the two theories. In order to help senior high school English teaching and the development of individualized teaching.
