功能翻译理论指导下赛车类新闻英语汉译

【摘要】：世界一级方程式汽车锦标赛号称为“天下第一赛事”。全球每年有600亿人次通过各种方式观看比赛,每场比赛有15万人的现场观看,由此可见,赛车比赛对人们的影响力。因此,赛车类新闻英语的翻译对于翻译研究和翻译实践都颇具意义。本文为一篇赛车新闻英译中实践报告。所译内容为笔者在保时捷(中国)有限公司协助媒体小组翻译2016年亚洲保时捷卡雷拉杯9月份至11月新闻。报告重点选取15篇关于卡雷拉杯在新加坡、马来西亚、上海站新闻报道的原文,约一万余词,作为案例分析对象。探讨新闻标题、词汇、句子以及中英文化差异等问题的处理方法或翻译策略。报告重点回顾了此次翻译的全过程,包括:译前准备、初译和修改校订三个阶段,详述译者在每一时期所做的具体内容。“案例分析”是本报告的重要章节,在这一章译者主要抓住新闻和赛车的特色,首先从新闻翻译的难点——标题入手分析,从词汇和语法层面提出翻译策略;对赛车新闻词汇处理则依据词汇的特点提出直译、意译、音译的解决办法;新闻句子处理则依据不同的语句特点采取直译、顺译、逆译的翻译方法。
[Abstract]:The World Formula one car Championship is known as the world's number one event. Around the world, 60 billion people watch races in various ways every year, with 150000 people watching each race, which shows the influence of racing on people. Therefore, the translation of racing news English is of great significance to translation research and translation practice. This paper is a practical report in English translation of racing news. The writer assisted a media team at Porsche (China) Co., Ltd. to translate the 2016 Porsche Carrera Cup news from September to November. The report focuses on 15 articles about the original text of the Carrera Cup in Singapore, Malaysia, Shanghai Station, about 10,000 words, as the case study object. This paper discusses the methods or translation strategies of news headlines, vocabulary, sentences and cultural differences between Chinese and English. The report focuses on the whole process of this translation, which includes three stages: pre-translation preparation, initial translation and revision, and details the specific contents of the translator in each period. Case study is an important chapter of this report. In this chapter, the translator focuses on the characteristics of news and racing. Firstly, the author analyzes the difficult points of news translation-title, and puts forward translation strategies from the lexical and grammatical levels. On the other hand, according to the characteristics of the words, the author puts forward the solutions of literal translation, free translation and transliteration, while the news sentence processing adopts the methods of literal translation, converse translation and inverse translation according to the characteristics of different sentences.
