英文汉语外来词内化模因研究

【摘要】：词汇互借是语言的共有现象,英语即为典型代表。从英语的发展史可以看出,英语善于吸收、内化外来词来丰富自身的词汇体系,在这些外来词中不少是汉语借词。汉语借词作为英文外来词的重要组成部分吸引了研究者的目光。现有文献显示,国内外研究者多聚焦英文汉语外来词的起源、类型、特征等方面的研究,并未深入分析英文汉语外来词内化的原因和影响。与之相对,有些学者采用模因论来研究中文英语外来词,其对外来词模因内化的原因、影响也待深入研究。本文采用模因论从历时和共时两个视角分析了英文汉语外来词模因的形成、发展阶段、特征、内化原因及内化影响。研究发现,英文汉语外来词模因的内化方式包括音译和语义内化,且在语音、形态和语义三个方面都呈现出各自的特点。英文汉语外来词模因内化的原因既涉及英语自身发展需要,又涉及汉语与中国文化的影响。本研究认为,英文汉语外来词模因内化对英语语言本身及其文化均会产生一定的影响。英文汉语外来词模因内化既能扩充英语的词汇量,又能丰富英语的语言和文化。同时,英文汉语外来词汇能忠实地折射中国不同时期的社会文化,其模因内化有助于了解中国不同时期的时代特色和不同阶段中西交流的特点。此外,对英文汉语外来词的研究还有利于中国特色文化更好的传播。
[Abstract]:Lexical loan is a common phenomenon of language, and English is a typical representation. It can be seen from the history of English development that English is good at absorbing and internalizing loanwords to enrich its own lexical system, and many of these loanwords are Chinese loanwords. As an important part of English loanwords, Chinese loanwords attract the attention of researchers. The existing literature shows that researchers at home and abroad have focused on the origin, types and characteristics of English Chinese loanwords, but have not deeply analyzed the causes and effects of the internalization of English Chinese loanwords. In contrast, some scholars use memetics to study Chinese English loanwords, and their influence on the causes of the internalization of loanwords needs further study. This paper uses memetics to analyze the formation, development stage, characteristics, internalization reasons and internalization influence of English loanword memes from both diachronic and synchronic perspectives. It is found that the internalization of English loanword memes includes transliteration and semantic internalization, and each of them has its own characteristics in phonetic, morphological and semantic aspects. The reasons for the internalization of English loanwords are not only related to the needs of the development of English itself, but also to the influence of Chinese and Chinese culture. The present study suggests that the internalization of loanwords in English has a certain influence on the English language and its culture. The internalization of loanwords in English can not only enlarge the vocabulary of English, but also enrich the language and culture of English. At the same time, foreign words in English Chinese can faithfully reflect the social culture of different periods in China, and the meme internalization is helpful to understand the characteristics of the times and the characteristics of the communication between China and the West at different stages. In addition, the study of English Chinese loanwords is also conducive to the better spread of Chinese culture.
