纪录片《世界遗产在中国》模拟口译实践报告

【摘要】：近些年来,人们对影视剧的热情与日俱增,纪录片作为一种独特的电视形式,能够更加直观的传达信息,表达情感;此外,作为中国对外交往中的一种重要的媒介和工具,纪录片在传播中华文化方面也起着重要作用。本文是一篇关于纪录片的模拟口译实践报告,笔者选取大型纪录片《世界遗产在中国》中拍摄于山西的两处世界遗产:《云冈石窟》和《平遥古城》为研究对象。整个口译过程采取中译英有稿同传的方式。基于胡庚申教授的生态翻译学,本文运用其翻译理念、原则、评判机制来指导此次模拟同传实践。该理论认为翻译即“适应选择”,本文将译者对翻译生态环境的“多维选择适应”程度为评价标准,从语言,文化和交际三个维度,对口译过程中的案例进行分析,并总结出一些口译技巧,一定程度上验证了生态翻译学对于口译实践的解释力。本论文共分为四章,第一章介绍项目背景、意义和理论依据;第二章介绍了整个项目实施过程,包括译前准备和口译操作;第三章分析了生态翻译学在该项目中的应用,以及该纪录片的翻译生态环境并从语言、文化、交际三个方面进行了案例分析;第四章为译后总结,包括读者反馈和自我评价,并针对不足和问题探讨了可行的解决对策。本次口译实践旨在改进译文质量,提高口译水平,为今后的口译活动积累宝贵经验;并希望对广大纪录片口译学习者有所启发,为相关领域研究人员提供些许参考。
[Abstract]:In recent years, people's enthusiasm for film and television drama is increasing, documentary as a unique form of television, can more intuitively convey information, express feelings; In addition, as an important medium and tool in China's foreign communication, documentary also plays an important role in the dissemination of Chinese culture. This paper is a practice report on documentary simulation interpretation. The author selects two World Heritage sites in Shanxi Province, Yungang Grottoes and Pingyao Ancient City, which were filmed in World Heritage in China. The whole process of interpretation adopts simultaneous interpretation from Chinese to English with manuscripts. Based on Professor Hu Gengshen's theory of ecological translation, this paper uses his translation ideas, principles and evaluation mechanism to guide the practice of simulated simultaneous interpretation. The theory holds that translation is "adaptive choice". This paper takes the degree of "multi-dimensional adaptation" of the translator to the translation ecological environment as the evaluation criterion, and analyzes the cases in the process of interpretation from the three dimensions of language, culture and communication. Some interpreting techniques are summarized, which to a certain extent verify the explanatory power of ecological translation for interpreting practice. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter introduces the background, significance and theoretical basis of the project, the second chapter introduces the whole project implementation process, including pre-translation preparation and interpretation operation. The third chapter analyzes the application of ecological translation in the project, and the translation ecological environment of the documentary, and carries out a case study from three aspects: language, culture and communication. Chapter four is a posttranslational summary, including reader feedback and self-evaluation. The purpose of this interpretation practice is to improve the quality of translation, improve the level of interpretation, and accumulate valuable experience for future interpreting activities, and hope to enlighten the vast number of documentary interpreting learners and provide some references for researchers in related fields.
