葛浩文译“狗”——基于葛浩文翻译语料库的考察

【摘要】：在我国译学界,一提起"狗",一般认为在西方多作褒义,在中国多作贬义,据信在葛浩文的翻译实践中也不例外。但偏见是潜在的,有关研究毕竟不是建立在穷尽考察事实的基础之上。为此,本文借助葛译莫言10本小说"乡土语言"翻译语料库,穷尽性地统计了莫言作品中的涉"狗"原文和葛浩文译文,分类考察了偏见产生的根源和传统分析出现偏颇的事实,借以探讨文化传播的深层机理,增强翻译批评的公正性。
[Abstract]:In the field of translation in China, the mention of "dog" is generally considered to be both positive and derogatory in the West, and is believed to be no exception in the translation practice of Gehor. But prejudice is latent, and research is not based on exhaustive examination of facts. Therefore, with the help of the translation corpus of Mo Yan's 10 novels "Local language", this paper makes an exhaustive analysis of the original texts of "Dog" and the translations of GE Haowen in Mo Yan's works. This paper investigates the origin of prejudice and the fact that the traditional analysis is biased in order to explore the deep mechanism of cultural communication and enhance the impartiality of translation criticism.
