“国家名片”上的问题英文——中国高铁《CRH服务指南》英译文指瑕

【摘要】：中国高铁《CRH服务指南》英语译文存在一些值得商榷之处:(1)措词不当;(2)成分残缺;(3)表述累赘;(4)信息含混;(5)语用失误。本文在明确《指南》的文本类型和预期功能的基础上,尝试对这些问题提出修改建议。
[Abstract]:There are some questionable points in the English translation of China's High Speed Railway (CRH Service Guide): (1) improper wording; (2) incomplete composition; (3) verbose language; (4) vague information; (5) pragmatic failure. On the basis of clarifying the text types and expected functions of the Guide, this paper tries to make suggestions for the modification of these problems.
