川东北天然气项目调试工作口译实践报告

【摘要】:随着国际交流日益频繁,许多中外企业在经济、文化、能源等各领域加强了合作。特别是在能源领域,许多中外合作项目兴起并发展起来。因此,近年来对石油天然气口译的需求不断增长。同时,石油天然气口译的专业性对译员提出了更高的要求。本实践报告是基于2015年7月到2016年7月笔者在川东北高含硫天然气项目的口译实践,分析了此项目中译员在译前、译中和译后的主要工作。许多学者对工程翻译的特点有深刻研究,但对于施工环境下,口译员身体和心理适应能力方面的相关探讨却并不充分。因此本文试图对该领域进行相关探讨。首先,本报告简要介绍川东北天然气项目背景信息和译员的任务分配,包括川东北项目概况,工厂介绍以及口译类型和要求。本次实践地点主要为施工现场,因此以交替传译为主。其次,由于工作环境的特殊性,包括天然气开采的安全要求以及项目的地域特点,使得在该项目中,对译员的环境适应能力提出了较高要求。本报告中,作者运用短期记忆、笔记法、非语言行为等基本口译技巧,对口译过程进行描述并分析具体案例,以解决项目口译过程中产生的专业术语、口音听辨、环境适应性等问题。口译任务完成后,基于客户对笔者表现的综合性评价,笔者也作出总结和自我评价。最后,作者在项目报告结尾作出总结,即在工程项目口译中,译员不仅需要良好的中英双语能力、充分的译前准备、良好的心理素质和环境适应能力,同时还需将口译理论和技巧运用到不同的工作环境中,并且每月总结口译经验对确保口译质量和提高口译能力也有积极作用。
[Abstract]:With the increasing frequency of international exchanges, many Chinese and foreign enterprises have strengthened cooperation in economy, culture, energy and other fields. Especially in the field of energy, many Chinese-foreign cooperative projects have emerged and developed. Therefore, the demand for oil and gas interpretation has been increasing in recent years. At the same time, the professional nature of oil and gas interpretation puts forward higher requirements for interpreters. This report is based on the interpretation practice of the high sulfur gas project in Northeast Sichuan from July 2015 to July 2016. The main work of the interpreter in this project is analyzed before, during and after translation. Many scholars have studied the characteristics of engineering translation deeply, but in the construction environment, there is not enough research on the interpreters' physical and psychological adaptability. Therefore, this paper attempts to carry on the related discussion to this domain. First of all, this report briefly introduces the background information of the natural gas project in Northeast Sichuan and the assignment of interpreters, including an overview of the project in Northeast Sichuan, an introduction to the plant, and the types and requirements of interpretation. This practice site is mainly for the construction site, so consecutive interpretation is the main. Secondly, due to the particularity of the working environment, including the safety requirements of natural gas production and the regional characteristics of the project, a higher requirement is put forward for the interpreters' ability to adapt to the environment in the project. In this report, the author uses basic interpreting techniques such as short-term memory, note-taking and non-verbal behavior to describe the interpretation process and analyze specific cases, in order to solve the problem of technical terms and accent listening in the process of project interpretation. Environmental adaptability and other problems. After the completion of the interpretation task, the author also summarizes and evaluates the author's performance based on the client's comprehensive evaluation of the author's performance. Finally, at the end of the project report, the author concludes that in engineering project interpretation, interpreters not only need good bilingual skills in Chinese and English, but also have good pre-translation preparation, good psychological quality and adaptability to the environment. At the same time, interpreting theories and skills should be applied to different working environments, and monthly summing up of interpreting experience will play a positive role in ensuring the quality of interpretation and improving interpreting ability.
