以批判性思维贯穿翻译始终

【摘要】:翻译可以分为理解、表达、取舍三个环节。理解既包括理解原作,也包括理解翻译的具体情境。对原作的理解要接近、达到甚至超过作者的水平。在理解的基础上,表达作者清楚表达、希望表达甚至应该表达的意思,并视翻译情景的需要,决定以与原文相同、相近或完全不同的形式来表达原作的意思。本文以具体例子,说明译者如何通过批判性思维,达到上述三方面的要求,并提出翻译教学应放在培养批判性思维能力上。
[Abstract]:Translation can be divided into three parts: understanding, expressing and choosing. Understanding includes not only understanding the original work, but also understanding the specific situation of translation. The understanding of the original work should be close, reaching or even exceeding the author's level. On the basis of understanding, the author clearly expresses, hopes to express and even should express the meaning, and decides to express the original meaning in the same, similar or completely different form as the original text, depending on the needs of the translation situation. With concrete examples, this paper illustrates how the translator achieves the above three requirements through critical thinking, and puts forward that translation teaching should focus on the cultivation of critical thinking ability.
