儿童文学《第十四条金鱼》翻译实践报告

【摘要】:儿童文学,作为文学领域的重要分支,始终与儿童教育密切相关,对儿童伦理道德观念的形成,认知能力的发展,创造性思维的培养都发挥着不可替代的作用。自上世纪末开始,儿童文学的翻译作品及出版数量一直呈上升趋势,但繁荣发展的背后,却问题频出,例如单一作品译本重复;翻译质量也良莠不齐。显然,相对于其它文学题材的探索研究,儿童文学翻译领域存在着极大不足。因此,对于儿童文学翻译实践的研究更需要投入更多的精力。为了更好地认识这一问题,本文选取并翻译了美国儿童文学作家珍妮弗·L·霍尔姆的作品——《第十四条金鱼》的部分章节。在翻译的过程中,我们意识到了接受美学理论的指导价值,这一理论主要围绕:读者,读者的阅读过程,以及读者自身的认知能力对于传递作品价值的影响。本文作者在翻译实践中运用具体的翻译技巧,例如口语表达;生动叙述;明确转述;化繁为简等,完成初稿,随后又反复修改,并不断打磨译本,旨在使阅读人群感受到不同的审美效果。总而言之,翻译儿童文学这一特殊题材时,我们应该从接受美学角度出发,力求提供更好的译本,使读者体验文学作品字里行间的美感。
[Abstract]:Children's literature, as an important branch of literature, is closely related to children's education and plays an irreplaceable role in the formation of children's ethics and morality, the development of cognitive ability and the cultivation of creative thinking. Since the end of the last century, the number of translated works and publications of children's literature has been on the rise, but behind the prosperity and development of children's literature, there are many problems, such as the repetition of a single translation, and the intermingled quality of translation. Obviously, there are some shortcomings in the field of children's literature translation. Therefore, more attention should be devoted to the study of children's literature translation practice. In order to better understand this problem, this paper selects and translates some chapters of American Children's Literature writer Jennifer L. Holm, the fourteenth goldfish. In the process of translation, we realize the guiding value of the theory of reception aesthetics, which mainly revolves around the reader, the reader's reading process, and the influence of the reader's own cognitive ability on the transmission of the value of the work. The author uses specific translation techniques in translation practice, such as oral expression, vivid narration, explicit reporting; In order to make the readers feel different aesthetic effects, the author completes the first draft, then revises it again and again, and refines the translation constantly. In a word, when translating children's literature as a special subject, we should try our best to provide a better translation from the perspective of reception aesthetics so that readers can experience the aesthetic feeling between the lines of literary works.
