基于语料库的there-构式研究

【摘要】：构式是形式与意义的匹配,基于构式语法理论可以将there-构式分为存在性there-构式和呈现性there-构式。本文对美国当代英语语料库(COCA)中关于there-构式的相关数据进行分类检索、词条对比和数据分析后,总结出了各类there-构式的使用特征、肯定与否定的使用频率、各个时态的使用情况以及there-构式的使用规律,即there be使用最多,肯定形式和一般时使用频率更高,而部分there-构式即使符合语法结构,实际使用中却很罕见,进一步验证了构式是形式与意义的匹配,整体大于部分意义之和。
[Abstract]:Construction is the matching of form and meaning. Based on the theory of construction grammar, there- constructions can be divided into existential there- constructions and presentational there- constructions. In this paper, the relevant data about there- constructions in the contemporary American English Corpus (COCA) are classified, compared and analyzed, and the usage characteristics, positive and negative frequency of there- constructions are summarized. The use of various tenses and the rule of use of there- constructions, that is, there be is used most, positive forms and general times are used more frequently, while some there- constructions, even if they conform to grammatical structures, are rarely used in practice. It is further verified that the construction is the match of form and meaning, and the whole is greater than the sum of partial meanings.
