不同英语水平学习者搭配频率直觉的对比研究

【摘要】:本文以英国国家语料库(BNC)数据为参照,调查我国高级、中上级和中下级三类不同英语水平学习者对英语搭配频率直觉的判断结果及差异。研究发现:1)三类学习者的直觉总体上与BNC数据呈中度相关性;2)三类学习者总体上对极端频率搭配的区分度较高,对相近频率搭配的区分度较低;3)三类学习者对高频搭配的判断较准确,但对低频搭配(尤其是极低频搭配)的判断缺乏准确性。其中,高级学习者对低频搭配的判断略优于中级学习者,两类中级学习者之间不存在差异。结果表明,我国中高级英语水平学习者的搭配能力和国外同类二语学习者相比存在较大差异,需在显性教学和语料库辅助中提高。
[Abstract]:Based on the (BNC) data from the British National Corpus, this paper investigates the judgment results and differences of English collocation frequency intuition among Chinese senior, middle-level and middle-lower English learners with different English proficiency levels. The results show that: 1) there is a moderate correlation between the intuition of the three types of learners and BNC data in general; 2) the discrimination of extreme frequency collocation is higher than that of similar frequency collocation in the three types of learners as a whole, and the difference degree of similar frequency collocation is lower than that of the three types of learners in general. 3) the three types of learners are more accurate in judging high-frequency collocation, but lack of accuracy in judging low-frequency collocation (especially very low-frequency collocation). Among them, advanced learners' judgment of low frequency collocation is slightly better than that of intermediate learners, and there is no difference between the two types of intermediate learners. The results show that the collocations ability of middle-and advanced-level English learners in China is much different from that of English learners in foreign countries, which needs to be improved in explicit teaching and corpus-based assistance.
