【摘要】：本文是一篇翻译实践报告,所选文本Shadow of the Shark是美国作家Mary Pope Osborne出版的五十多部儿童文学作品中的一部。译者选取了故事的前七章进行翻译,在翻译过程中由德国翻译家汉斯威密尔提出的目的论作为主要理论指导,从儿童读者的感受出发,将生动有趣的故事情节和原著作者巧妙植入的历史和地理知识结合在一起。该翻译报告由五个部分组成。首先,在第一部分的引言中,笔者介绍了该翻译项目的背景和意义,以及报告的框架结构。第二部分主要是对翻译原文本的介绍,包括原作者Mary Pope Osborne和她的系列作品介绍,另外,笔者还分析了选取的翻译文本的主要内容以及语言风格。第三部分主要是对该报告指导理论的概述,包括目的论的定义以及目的论三原则。翻译报告的第四部分也是本文的主体章节,译者以所选取的翻译理论目的论为依托,从读者接受的角度出发,主要从三个方面提出了具体的翻译策略和方法,并且例举了一些代表性的案例来进行分析。首先,在词的翻译方面,主要包括叠词、拟声词、成语的使用和同一个英文单词的不同中文翻译。其次,在翻译方法方面,有增译和正反译法。最后,在修辞方面,包括比喻和拟人的翻译和使用。在翻译报告的最后,笔者总结了此次翻译实践中得到的经验和教训,同时也列出了该报告存在的缺陷和仍待解决的问题。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report. The selected text Shadow of the Shark is one of more than 50 children's literature published by American writer Mary Pope Osborne. The translator selects the first seven chapters of the story for translation. In the process of translation, the Skopos Theory proposed by German translator Hans Weimer is taken as the main theoretical guidance, starting from the feelings of children readers. Combine the vivid and interesting storyline with the historical and geographic knowledge that the original author skillfully implanted. The translation report consists of five parts. First, in the introduction of the first part, the author introduces the background and significance of the translation project, as well as the framework structure of the report. The second part is an introduction to the translation of the original text, including the introduction of the original author Mary Pope Osborne and her series of works. In addition, the author also analyzes the main content and language style of the selected translation text. The third part is an overview of the guiding theory of the report, including the definition of Skopos Theory and the three principles of Skopos Theory. The fourth part of the translation report is also the main chapter of this paper. On the basis of the Skopos Theory, the translator puts forward three specific translation strategies and methods from the angle of readers' acceptance. And examples of some representative cases to carry on the analysis. First of all, the translation of words mainly includes overlapping words, onomatopoeia, idioms and the different Chinese translation of the same English word. Secondly, in terms of translation methods, there are both positive and negative translation methods. Finally, in rhetoric, including metaphor and personification translation and use. At the end of the translation report, the author summarizes the experience and lessons learned in the translation practice, and also lists the shortcomings of the report and the problems that remain to be solved.
