文化翻译视域下葛浩文对莫言小说英译的启示

【摘要】：莫言获诺贝尔文学奖以来,对其作品英译者葛浩文的翻译研究在国内翻译界引起了巨大波澜。囿于中西方文化隔膜、意识形态的差异及翻译本身所面临的困境,中国当代文学若想被世界读者真正理解、认识和接受,至关重要的是需要厘清中国的文学翻译到底应该向何处去的问题。通过分析葛浩文在文化翻译理论主导下进行的莫言小说的英译实践,可以从理论到实践为中国当代文学的翻译提供可资借鉴的成功经验,为中国文学的发展开拓更大、更为自由的空间。
[Abstract]:Since Mo Yan won the Nobel Prize for Literature, the study of translation of English translator GE Haowen has caused great waves in the field of translation in China. Due to the cultural gap between China and the West, the differences of ideology and the difficulties faced by translation itself, if Chinese contemporary literature is to be truly understood, recognized and accepted by readers in the world, it is very important to clarify where the translation of Chinese literature should go. By analyzing the English translation practice of Mo Yan's novels carried out by GE Haowen under the guidance of cultural translation theory, we can provide successful experience for the translation of Chinese contemporary literature from theory to practice, and open up a bigger and freer space for the development of Chinese literature.
