中国学者学术论文中评价性It从句的语义特征研究

　　学术写作不仅仅是客观地对事实的陈述,同时还是一种带有评价性质的社会交际活动。评价是作者对于他/她所述事情持有的态度,立场或观点传达个人或社团的价值体系,能建立和维持作者与读者之间、说者与听者之间的关系。It从句是作者表达评价情感的一种有效手段。本文收集了材料学英文期刊中中国学者所写的学术论文以及以英语为本族语的学者所写的学术论文各50万字,通过基于语料库的研究方法对比研究了不同类型的it从句的使用频率。研究结果表明与本族语者相比,中国学者在it从句中所用的形容词,动词以及名词词义更为广泛。其语义特征揭示了本族语学者倾向用直接明确的方式来表达观点,中国学者倾向用一种更加含蓄的方式来进行评价。本文主要从社会文化、语言特点和语义特征方面分析了相关原因,为今后的英语学术写作教学提出了改进意见。
