高中英语写作中的连词使用研究

【摘要】：连词作为衔接手段被用来连接语篇成分。通过回顾前人的文献,作者发现大部分的研究主要集中在高级英语学习者。这篇论文的目的是调查高中生英语作文中连词的使用情况。为了开展研究,需要回答两个研究问题,分别是:1.高中生英语作文中连词使用的整体情况是什么?2.高分组和低分组使用连词是否有不同?如果有,不同点是什么?为了解决这个三个问题,分析了87名高二学生的256篇作文。这256篇作文根据新课程标准的作文评分标准来进行评分并且在夸克等人的连词分类的基础上进行分析。当学生的作文全部收集以后,作者对来自于高分组和低分组的八名学生进行了访谈,以支持第二个问题。研究结果显示高分组和低分组学生在连词使用的频率和类别上有明显差异,而且连词的使用和作文质量是积极相关的关系。此外,访谈结果表明高分组的四名学生在连词使用的频率和类别上比低分组的三名学生有更强的意识,更高的能力。在研究发现的基础上,作者在英语写作教学上提出了一些教学方法。英语老师应该培养学生使用连词的意识和能力,尤其是低分组的学生。此外,作者也提供了一些具体的教学方法:完形练习;句子组合;重组。
