《加利福尼亚之遗产》（第五章）英译汉翻译实践报告

　　本文是一篇基于《加利福尼亚之遗产》第五章的翻译实践报告。此书主要讲述了由加州淘金热引发的一系列事件政治,经济,社会和文化的变革。翻译此类著作,可以帮助读者了解19世纪美国的这一重要历史事件,以及当时美国人民的生存状况和当时的社会历史风貌。同时也为笔者提供翻译专业学术著作的实践机会。本翻译实践报告主要是在目的论的指导下,为美国淘金热时期的研究提供更多的素材,并希望能够为跨学科文本的翻译实践提供更多有益的参考。本实践报告由四个章节组成,第一章是翻译任务描述,包括任务背景,文本特点和作者简介。第二章是翻译过程描述,包括译前准备和术语表的制定,翻译理论的选择,翻译策略的选择以及翻译计划执行情况。第三章是案例分析,主要介绍了翻译实践中出现的问题类型及解决过程。第四章是翻译实践总结,包括翻译实践中未解决的问题及对今后的启发。
