南非主流媒体对中国形象的话语建构

  南非是中国在非的第一大贸易对象,又是非洲第二大经济体,两国之间的贸易关系极其紧密。在中南两国深入经济合作背景下,南非媒体对中国的相关报道数量与日俱增,分析南非的媒体构建的中国形象,从而促进中南合作关系的深入持续发展就显得十分必要。本文选取南非两大主流报纸《星报》和《邮报卫报》有关中国的报道作为研究对象,对这些报道中所呈现的中国形象进行研究。研究问题如下:(1)这两份报纸塑造了怎样的中国形象?(2)这两份报纸是如何塑造中国形象的?选择2018年1月1日至12月31日为时间节点,从NewsBank检索两份报纸有关中国的相关报道1503篇建立语料库。本文以费尔克劳夫的三维话语分析模式为理论框架,并结合了韩礼德的系统功能语法和辛斌的互文性进行分析。在描述阶段,首先,运用AntConc3.3得出语料中“China(中国)”以及“Chinese(中国的)”的显著搭配词,考察南非两家报纸有关中国报道所关注的话题,分析构建中国形象的语境;其次,选取“金砖国家峰会”的104篇报道进行及物性分析,以考察语料中所建构的具体中国形象。在阐释阶段,对两份报纸的代表性语篇进行互文性分析。探讨南非媒体两大新闻媒体是...
