《成都街巷志》（节选）汉英翻译报告

　　成都文化是蜀文化的代表,也是中国文化的有机组成部分。尽管成都文化是中国的地方文化,但是随着全球化的不断深入,它已越来越为外部世界所知。《成都街巷志》是一本通过介绍成都街巷来介绍成都历史文化的著作,介绍了发生在这些街巷的历史事件和人物事迹,具有较为丰富的文化内涵。中西方语言和文化存在差异,用英语准确传译出本书的文化内涵、让它更能以英语国家读者接受的方式传递是一个重要的课题。功能对等理论强调读者反应,重在实现两种语言间的对等,从这一理论的视域下翻译这部著作可以较好地完成这一重要课题。鉴于此,本翻译报告以功能对等理论为指导进行了翻译实践。在翻译实践中,译者将理论与实践相结合,以读者能理解和接受的方式翻译文本、传递成都文化。译者从词汇、句法和语篇三个层面,对文本进行了具体的分析。通过案例分析,主要阐述了在功能对等理论指导下的汉英翻译中,语言的交际功能是可以实现的。本翻译报告呈现了《成都街巷志》（节选）翻译实践的全过程,希望翻译实践所得对未来成都文化乃至巴蜀文化的翻译研究能有一定的参考价值。
