文化视域下中非学生英语写作差异的研究

  英语写作中句法复杂度和语篇连贯性与语言学习者整体的语言水平有着紧密联系。本文结合定量与定性分析研究探讨了中非学生英语写作中的语篇连贯差异和句法复杂度差异,从文化视域的角度分析了大学英语教学和学习者学习动机对中非学生英语写作的影响。本文的研究对象分别是15名非洲非英语专业研究生和15名中国非英语专业研究生。两组研究对象完成了本研究的两次问卷调查与一次英语议论文写作。此外,研究对15名中国研究对象及6名非洲研究对象进行了访谈。基于Chiang(1999,2003)的连贯性评分量表对研究样本进行语篇连贯度分析;运用陆小飞(2010)开发的二语句法复杂度分析器(L2SCA)对研究样本的语篇复杂度进行测量分析;通过SPSS16.0对研究中收集到的数据进行了独立样本T检验和皮尔逊相关分析。研究结果表明,非洲组文本与中国组文本在语篇连贯性上无显著性差异;非洲组文本与中国组文本在T单位平均长度(MLT)和T单位复杂比率(C/T)两项上呈显著性差异;从文化角度分析大学英语教学和学生学习动机的差异发现:非洲学校英语教学与中国学校英语教学在教学方法、写作要求、写作频率、英语试卷题型、英语课内及课外学习六项上...
