《英语政治：冲突、竞争与共存》（第四章节选）翻译实践报告

本篇论文是一篇英译汉翻译实践报告。翻译的原文节选自《英语政治:冲突、竞争与共存》（The Politics of English:Conflict,Competition,Co-existence）一书的第四章部分内容,英语原文约7000个单词,汉语译文约12000多个字。该书由安·休因斯（Ann Hewings）和卡洛琳·塔格（Caroline Tagg）共同编纂而成,目前在国内尚无译本。本书在语言政策与规划方面有着很高的研究价值和现实意义,如能在这一领域进行深入的研究,必将更好地服务于中国语言规划的建设。按照彼得·纽马克（Peter Newmark）对文本的划分方法,该本文属于信息型文本。笔者以纽马克的语义翻译和交际翻译理论为指导,分析了在本书翻译过程中遇到的问题和相应的翻译技巧,并借助翻译案例对此进行了剖析。本翻译报告由四个章节组成。第一章是对翻译任务的描述,包括说明翻译任务的来源、对翻译文本进行简述和阐明翻译项目的意义;第二章对翻译过程进行了说明,主要有译前准备、翻译理论依据和翻译方法、翻译过程中遇见的问题以及翻译后的修改与校对;第三章从词汇、句子和语篇层面探讨了本篇译文中所用...
