中美新闻评论关于中美贸易争端的元话语劝说功能对比研究

  本论文旨在探讨中美两国关于中美贸易争端的新闻评论文章在元话语资源使用方面的异同,以及元话语标记在建构和实现说服中的作用。为此,本研究基于Hyland(2005)的人际元话语模型,随机搜集并检验了2018年1月至2019年3月期间在《中国日报》和《华盛顿邮报》上发表的60篇关于中美贸易争端的新闻评论文章(其中30篇由美国作家撰写,30篇由以英语作为外语的中国作者撰写),运用AntConc专业统计软件考察库中各类元话语资源的频数差异,并采用卡方检验进一步证实这些差异是否显著。本研究采用定量与定性相结合的研究方法。基于Hyland(2005)的人际元话语模型,本研究考察了两个语料库中每一类元话语的频率和分布情况。定量结果揭示了两库中元话语的使用的相似性和差异性。一方面,在中美语料库中人际互动型元话语资源都远多于文本交互型元话语资源。此外,在文本交互型元话语中,过渡标记的使用频率在两个语料库中都是最高的,而框架标记和回指标记则在两个语料库中使用频率最低。在人际互动型元话语中,模糊语在两个语料库中使用频率均最高,而自称语在两个语料库中使用频率均最低。另一方面,在中美语料库中某些元话语子类以及子类...
