顺应论视角下《辽西风情》英译实践报告

　　本文为一篇汉译英翻译实践报告。翻译实践的源文本是导师与学苑出版社签约的翻译项目《故园画忆》之《辽西风情》。该系列丛书于2014年入选新闻出版改革发展项目库,《辽西风情》采用图文并茂的形式记录辽宁西部已经消失或者正在消失的特色建筑、民俗风情、生活场景等,共收录188幅写生画。翻译过程中,笔者遇到的问题主要来源于文化负载词、专有名词、句法三方面。笔者以顺应论为指导,结合源文本的语言风格以及文本特征从语言、文化、交际三个层面,针对不同的问题提出了相应的翻译策略,以实现源文本要表达的交际功能。通过案例分析,笔者发现:增译、减译、意译、直译加注、音译、词类转换、结构调整等翻译技巧的使用有助于译本顺应英语读者的语言习惯、文化背景和交际思维,有利于英语读者获得与汉语读者同等效力的阅读感受。笔者希望本实践报告能够给之后研究文化遗产类文本翻译的学者提供一些参考意见,为中华文化走出去做出绵薄贡献。
