英语专业学生与本族语学生议论文中元话语名词使用情况对比研究

  元话语名词是指标记篇章结构并协助读者理解语篇的名词资源。近年来,随着学术语篇人际互动研究的发展,元话语名词研究才开始受到关注。但目前关于元话语名词的研究主要还是集中在科研论文上,且就研究对象而言,鲜有研究关注中国英语专业学生。由此,本研究旨在比较中国英语专业学生和英语本族语学生议论文写作中元话语名词的使用情况。具体而言,本研究主要解决以下三大问题:(1)中国英语专业学生和英语本族语学生议论文中元话语名词的使用呈现何种特征?(2)中国英语专业学生在元话语使用方面与英语本族语学生有无差异?(3)不同水平英语专业学生议论文中元话语名词的使用是否存在差异?本研究基于中国学生英语笔语语料库2.0(WECCL 2.0)和鲁汶英语本族语作文语料库(LOCNESS),以姜峰和海兰德提出的元话语名词分类框架为分析框架展开研究。研究发现:(1)从整体上来看,中国英语专业学生与英语本族语学生的元话语名词使用情况的大致趋势相类似。首先,在词汇-语法构式的使用方面,中国英语专业学生与英语本族语学生均大量使用“Determiner+N”和“N+post-nominal clause”两种结构。其次,在元话语名词类...
