基于互动假说的大学英语写作教学实证研究

【摘要】：英语写作能力一直是我国外语教学强调的一个核心技能。写作作为一种以书面语言呈现的语言输出对二语学习者起到至关重要的作用。如何实施有效的教学使学习者掌握这一技能尤为重要。近年来,英语写作教学中出现的问题需要得到解决。本研究试图将互动假说与大学英语写作教学相结合,通过实证研究的方法提高非英语专业学生的英语写作能力。本研究以输入假说、输出假说、互动假说为理论基础,探讨其对大学英语写作的影响。本研究在质性研究与量性研究的基础上提出以下三个研究问题:(1)基于互动假说的大学英语写作教学能否提高学生的英语写作兴趣?(2)基于互动假说的大学英语写作教学能否提高学生的英语写作能力?(3)基于互动假说的大学英语写作教学能否降低学生在内容、结构和语言三方面的写作难度?本研究选取沈阳师范大学2014级非英语专业本科生两个平行班88名学生作为实验对象。研究历时一个学期。研究工具包括问卷、写作测试以及访谈。实验班将互动假说应用到写作教学中,控制班则采用传统的写作教学方法。本研究使用SPSS16.0统计软件对数据进行细致分析。对实验班与控制班在实验前后的作文测试结果进行独立样本T检验和配对样本T检验,对学生的写作成绩进行分析;实验班和控制班的前后测问卷数据进行独立样本T检验和配对样本T检验,对学生的写作兴趣和写作难度进行分析。研究结果如下:(1)大学英语写作在互动假说的应用之下,学生能够积极的融入到写作课堂中。通过访谈学生给予的反馈可以发现学生的写作兴趣有了一定成度的提高同时对写作的信心也得到了增强。(2)与对照组相比,实验组的学生能够在写作课上表现出更强的积极性,学生的写作成绩有了显著提高。(3)研究发现实验组的学生在内容、结构、语言三方面的写作难度得到了降低。写作内容进一步丰富,写作结构趋于合理,语言应用更为准确。研究发现将互动假说应用到大学英语写作有助于提高学生的写作水平和写作兴趣,有助于降低学生在内容、结构和语言方面的写作难点,有助于增强学生对写作的信心。基于以上研究结果,本研究最后对大学英语写作教学提出了几点建议并且总结了本研究的不足之处。
