《新时代汉英大词典》中国特色词的翻译对等词与译义研究

中国特色词蕴含丰富的中国文化信息和鲜明的民族文化特征,它们对中国文化的传播尤为重要。然而,在实际生活中,中国特色词常常是译者从事翻译、写作活动的“绊脚石”,也是外国汉语学习者学习汉语的难点。双语词典的释义和单语词典的释义有很大的不同,双语词典释义主要在于提供对等目的语对等词及译文,即译义,它们不仅需要满足词典用户的实际查阅需要,还需兼顾中国文化的宣传和推广。因此,研究汉英词典中文化特色词的对等词和译义,对丰富释义理论、提高释义水平有十分重要的理论和实践意义,对帮助中国文化“走出去”和促进中国文化软实力的构建有着重要意义。本文综合分析了现有学者对文化特色词的研究,为了便于研究特色词的对等词翻译和译义方法,本文将文化特色词分为物质文化特色词、制度文化特色词和精神文化特色词三类,以第二版《新时代汉英大词典》和涉华英语语料库中的中国特色词为研究对象,选取《新时代汉英大词典》中具有代表性的特色词和涉华英语语料库提取的高频特色词为例子,深入分析这些特色词在词典中的对等词和译义情况,在语料库中的翻译情况,总结其规律和存在的问题,并指出可供借鉴和需要改进的地方,以丰富和完善汉英词典中特色词对等词和译义...
