关联翻译理论视角下《建筑的社会处境：建筑文化政治经济学》英汉翻译报告

　　本翻译报告是笔者以保罗·琼斯(Paul Jones)的论文《建筑的社会处境:建筑文化政治经济学》(Putting Architecture in its Social Place:A Cultural Political Economy of Architecture)为翻译实践素材。在翻译过程中,译者以关联翻译理论以及最佳关联原则为指导,将翻译视为明示-推理的过程,并从三个方面进行了案例分析,即:(1)准确推测作者创作意图,并清晰地表达出来;(2)考虑读者认知语境,符合读者认知期待;(3)使译文读者花费最少努力取得最佳关联。报告共分五个部分。首先,报告对翻译任务与原文本特点进行阐述。其次,讨论了翻译过程,包括译前准备、翻译中的问题处理以及译后校对。在关联翻译理论的指导下,译者从词汇、句子以及语篇最佳关联三方面对建筑社会学论文翻译进行了研究。最后为翻译实践总结,提出在关联翻译理论的指导下,采用如转换法、语序调整法、分译法和省略法等方法进行翻译,有助于我国建筑社会学的发展进步,以期为建筑学翻译者提供借鉴。
