中国学习者英语读后续写中的结构启动

结构启动研究主要分为两类:实验型和观察型研究。然而,这两类研究各有各的问题。实验型结构启动研究缺乏生态效度。为实现实验控制,该类研究往往采用缺乏真实语境的孤立语句或短语片段作为实验材料,致使实验材料与真实语言使用不符,研究结果不一定适用于自然语言使用。观察型启动研究则缺乏必要的实验控制。虽以真实语料为基础,但该类研究由于缺乏必要的实验控制,所观察到的结构重复现象不一定源于结构启动,不能在结构重复与结构启动间建立有效的因果关系链接。因此,探索一个既能实现实验控制,又能体现语言自然使用特征的实验方法迫在眉睫。读后续写便可能是一个兼顾二者的方法:读后续写总在语境中进行,且该任务不论读、写部分皆与自然、真实的语言使用相仿,该任务还可对阅读部分进行改写以实现语言结构控制。鉴于此,本研究通过读后续写考察结构启动,聚焦中国学习者英语读后续写中的目标结构产出,具体解决两个问题:1,中国英语二语学习者的读后续写产出中是否存在结构启动;2,如果存在结构启动,二语水平是否影响结构启动效应,怎样影响结构启动效应。为回答上述问题,我们设计实施了如下实验。实验受试为159名中国英语学习者,含109名大二学生和50...
