交际法在初中英语词汇教学中的应用研究

【摘要】：众所周知,词汇是语言的三要素(语音,词汇和语法)之一,在英语学习中起着至关重要的作用。词汇量的不足会直接影响我们用英语与他人有效地交流。然而,在认真研究词汇教学现状时,作者发现在初中英语教学中存在着很多问题。大多数初中生不喜欢背单词,即使花费了大量的时间去背,也很快就遗忘了,缺乏记住单词的有效策略。初中英语教师也面临着如何培养初中生学习词汇兴趣,形成有效词汇学习策略的难题。本文试图将交际教学法应用于初中英语词汇教学中来解决这些问题。本实验将交际法应用于初中英语教学时,旨在回答以下三个问题:1.交际法能否提高初中生的内部英语学习动机?2.交际法能否帮助初中生形成有效的词汇学习策略?3.词汇教学法对初中生的英语词汇水平有促进作用吗?本实验为期四个月,实验受试者为凌海市一初中的初二两个班级,它们分别作为实验班和控制班,共由98名学生组成。在实验班采用交际法来教授学生词汇。在控制班使用传统词汇教学法。为了了解初中生对英语词汇学习的内部动机情况和使用学习策略情况,实验前对实验班进行了一次问卷调查,并对实验班和控制班都进行了一次相同的词汇测试。在实验过程中,在实验班教师采用交际法对词汇进行教学,而在控制班则仍然采用传统的教学方法。进行了4个月的教学后,作者对实验班进行了相同的问卷调查,目的是为了发现实验后实验班在英语词汇学习内部动机和策略等方面是否发生变化。接着又对实验班和控制班进行了词汇测试,目的是验证交际教学法是否能提高学生英语词汇水平。最后通过对实验数据的收集和分析,结果表明交际法可以提高初中学生学习英语学习的内部动机并对英语学习策略产生了积极的影响,并且有效地提高了初中生的英语学习水平。
