基于输出驱动假设的大学英语词汇习得实验研究

【摘要】:自从20世纪80年代,Merrill Swain提出输出理论以来,国内外许多研究者开始对输出理论展开各种各样的研究。2008年文秋芳在Swain的输出理论基础上,为促进当前英语学习者各项技能的发展,提出了输出驱动假设。本研究以输出假说和输出驱动假设为理论基础,采用了多种研究方法,如文献法、实验法、访谈法等,目的在于探究以输出驱动假设为基础的词汇教学方法对大学生习得接受性词汇和产出性词汇的影响。本研究采用SPSS 19.0数据处理系统对实验组和控制组即时后测与延时后测数据进行了描述性统计分析、方差分析、ANOVA分析以及配对样本t检测。实验数据表明: (1)在接受性词汇的即时测验中,控制组与实验组得分仅有微小差异,经检验该组数据没有显著性差异,sig=0.2250.05;(2)在产出性词汇的即时测验中,sig=0.0010.05两组得分差距有显著性差异,且实验组得分较高;(3)在词汇的延时测验中,无论是产出性词汇还是接受性词汇,实验组都比控制组得分高,且两组数据都有显著性统计意义,sig=0.0150.05, sig=0.0000.005。研究结果证明与传统词汇教学法相比,以输出驱动假设为基础设计的词汇教学方法对学习者即时习得接受性词汇的影响相差不大,但对产出性词汇有更好的促进作用,除此之外,后者更能帮助学习者长期保存他们习得的词汇记忆。本文探讨了基于输出驱动假设的词汇教学方法对学习者习得接受性词汇和产出性词汇的影响,其研究成果能为从事词汇教学的老师和对词汇教学感兴趣的研究者提供参考。
