【摘要】：随着信息化和全球化的发展,全球语言服务市场和中国语言服务市场的规模都得到了持续扩大,并且口译、笔译、本地化等不同的服务类型所占比例也发生着巨大变化。为了适应市场的发展,2007年国务院学位委员会批准了15所MTI试点教学单位。目前为止,全国已有206所院校拥有MTI教学点。然而,中国的语言服务市场仍然存在人才短缺的情况。针对此问题,学术界和市场都做出了各种猜想或假设,但是大部分仅仅停留在此层面,真正去调研、用数据说话的寥寥无儿。本文以翻译职业能力为基点,以欧洲翻译硕士模型为框架,尝试通过访谈、小组讨论以及问卷的方式来调研市场和教师对于翻译职业能力的认知以及学生和毕业生对于翻译职业能力的自我评价,探究语言服务市场与MTI教学之间的隔阂。结果表明,教师与市场在技术能力上的认知有所偏差,其余五种子能力(语言能力,信息搜寻能力,特定领域专业能力,技术能力,跨文化能力和翻译服务能)认知一致；MTI毕业生与校友在技术能力上的自我评价不存在差异,其余五种子能力(同上)均存在差异。最后,综合整个调研的结果和MTI现行课程设置进行分析,为MTI的教学提出一些意见和建议,例如开展跨学科教育、采用任务驱动型教学方法以及提供高质量的实习机会。
